Never Again?

Charles Krauthammer says the leaders of Iran are Hitler's successors.

Some people have trouble taking President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's statements seriously. But Hitler wasn't taken seriously either.

When we say "never again," do we mean NEVER again?

Not only do I find fault with Jews not taking Ahmadinejad's statements seriously, but the Israeli government itself appears just as guilty. Where is Israel's leadership declaring that Ahmadinejad's statements are words of war, and that Israeli armed forces may need and will react accordingly?

Yes, Mr. Klein, I aslo can't help but get that sinking feeling that history does indeed repeat itself.

Oh please. Rumsfield made the analogy recently with Chavez in Venezuela. Saddam Hussein was Hitler. Pretty much every bad guy who gets in US crosshairs can be assured of being compared with Hitler. Later it will be somebody else. Its the usual hype that intellectuals love to participate in to mobilize support for aggression.
